Today's Scenario

  • Education focussed only on selected areas
  • No attention towards individual's actual interest
  • Result: Ends up doing an unwanted job
  • Reason: Lack of proper exposure in early years
Education in today’s scenario is focussed just upon making an individual obtain a degree in a selected set of fields. During this process it is never ensured that the individual is pursuing his field of interest. As a result of it, a huge proportion of youth unknowingly ends up doing a job that he/she never wanted to do. The reason for this is lack of proper exposure during the early stage of life.

Our Solution

  • Proper exposure of 8 different intelligences
  • Presence of different intelligence profiles in each child
  • Identification of individual's actual intelligence at AS AM I
Based upon Prof Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligence, we at AS AM I aim to give the children a proper exposure to the 8 different kinds of intelligences. Each child possesses at least one kind of intelligence. If that intelligence is properly nurtured, the child has the potential to achieve the highest level of success in that particular field. Therefore, after providing proper exposure, we aim to identify that intelligence (or the set of intelligences) that the child possesses. Thus, giving her/him a basis to take a decision about the field that she/he should pursue.

The 3 C's Approach

At aSaMI, the Multiple Intelligence approach is coupled with the 3C's approach:

Critical Thinking

Ability to think rationally
Critical thinking is that mode of thinking — about any subject, content, or problem — in which the thinker improves the quality of his or her thinking by skillfully analyzing, assessing, and reconstructing it. In current scenario, the thinking of children is a reflection of their parents or elders, thus giving them a biased view of any particular situation. In order to make crucial decisions of life, a neutral analysis of every situation is important. This is why we, at aS aM I, provide the kids with such an atmosphere in which the quality of critical thinking is developed in them.

Out of the box thinking
Creativity is the mental characteristic that allows a person to think outside of the box, which results in innovative or different approaches to a particular task. At aS aM I, the imagination of the children is valued more than the acquired skills. The activities are planned in such a way, that the natural thinking of children is not hindered and their originality is appreciated.

Curious mind is innovative
Curiosity is the desire to know or learn about anything. Children, specially at early age, have a tendency to ask a lot of questions. Due to the busy schedule, these questions are not entertained at their home or schools. However, a curious mind has a good scope of innovation and creativity. Therefore, at aS aM I, the children are provided with the freedom of asking questions so that their curiosity remains intact.
